Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they both went to in Hamburg. They realized at the time that it was a union made in heaven. Ashley Hudson was just 17 years old and hadn't ever had a relationship previously, so they took their time. The two fell in love instantly. Andrew prayed to God during New Year's Day just prior to the start of 2016. Andrew demanded God for one final favor this year, which was that Ashley accept his proposal and be married. Ashley really wanted a woodsy themed wedding with a folk theme that really represented her and Andrew. For the wedding, they brought everything significant to the couple. Ashley was born on 40 acres which were chosen as the venue. Ashley knew the entire region, exploring it, and had a game in the area. Andrew and Ashley were also walking around in this spot several times since they started dating. Since the wedding was almost entirely DIY, personalization was an important aspect. Ashley painted and made many of the decorations. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the ceremony seating and arch. Ashley says, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I've always imagined were Anna's gorgeous flowers hadn't been done." The work is simply stunning.
